In follow-up to yesterday's post requesting input on a Motto et al for The Free City of Atlantis, I wanted to put up a post pulling the results together in one place.
Artist's Note: I am aware that the gate symbol for "Pegasus" is inverted on the colonial flags. That is a function of the fact that those who made the original flags were unfamiliar with Milky-Way glyphs and didn't realize the significance. When the final product was presented, it was decided to stick with the modified design instead of recommissioning a new set. It ended up being just another way that the expedition has consciously distanced itself from Earth and the affairs of the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Official State Flag
This is the flag that hangs in the Atlantis Conference Room.
It is also the version that graces the coffins of the fallen.
The Puddle-Jumper Flag
A simplified version of the formal flag.
This is the version painted onto all 'Lantean Spacecraft.
It is also used in place of a 'Country of Origin' patch on Earth-designed uniforms in allied ventures.
The Earth-Side Flag
The flag approved to fly in public locations on Earth.
It bears the Ancient letters for "Atlantis" and the city's motto in romanized Ancient:
Ex Adversum, Libertas
Out of Adversity, Freedom.

A Note On Atlantis Earth-Side Operations
Prior to the signing of the Treaty of Alliance on February 7, 2014, the 'Lanteans established a 'shell' corporation through which to conduct business on Earth without breaching classification. PegCorp, LLC handled 'Lantean patents (Non-military), supply acquisition, and immigration affairs out of two offices - A headquarters in Washington, DC and a secondary office in Colorado Springs, CO. Two more offices were eventually opened in Geneva, Suisse and Hong Kong, PRC.
And since they were requested, here are icon-sized versions of each of the flags.
